Rules & Regulations

 

Attendance Policy

80% is a must as per school rules. As per council’s rule, it is 75%. During school hours no student is allowed to leave the school premises without the permission of the principal or in-charge. An absentee must produce a letter from parents/guardians explaining the cause of absence. A continued absence for 15 days without prior information is liable to get his/her name struck off the attendance roll.

The leave application on medical ground must be accompanied with medical certificate at the time of rejoining the class. In case of any infectious disease, it must be clearly mentioned in the M.C. The student affected with or exposed to such disease must inform the school authority, and he or she should complete quarantine period before he/she rejoins the school.

COUNCIL’S RULES ON ATTENDANCE : Candidates whose attendance is below 75% of the working days are ordinarily not eligible to sit for the examinations. However, the Chief Executive and Secretary has authority to condone the shortage in case of candidates whose minimum attendance is not less than 60% of the working days.

This is inclusive of illness and other special circumstances. Heads of school may represent to the chief Executive and secretary, cases of candidates who deserve special consideration for condonation, provided that the attendance of such candidates is not less than 60% of the working days, during each year of the two-year course. Heads of schools are not to refer to condonation of attendance in case of candidates having below 60% attendance. The last date for computing attendance at school is February 15, of each of the two years for ICSE and for ISC it is January 31st.

Discipline

Discipline is the integral part of life. Nothing can be achieved in absence of discipline, special code of conduct, good manners and sense of self respect and respect for others including the classmates, teachers and other co-workers. A disciplinary committee supervises maintenance of day-to-day discipline inside the school. Students are required to abide by its directions and rules and regulations framed by the school in this regard. Incorrigible student is compelled to withdraw from the school, if the principal considers the conduct of the student is detrimental to the interest of the institution.

Uniform

FOR NURSERY :

  • Boys

i) Shirt (half): White and pink small check (Terri-cotton) with grey collar and 1 /4 border around arms.
ii) School monogram embroidered with yellow thread on grey cloth and stitched on the pocket.
iii)Shorts (Half Terri-cotton) : Grey colour with shoulder straps.
iv) White and pink small check piping along either side seam.
v) Socks: White with grey border
vi)Shoes: Black leather shoes (Bata)

  • Girls

i) Frock (half sleeve): White and pink small check (Terri-cotton) with grey collar and 1 / 4 border around arms.
ii) School monogram embroidered with yellow thread on a piece of cloth and stitched on the pocket.
iii)V-shaped grey colour piping around waist.
iv)Socks: White with grey border.
v) Shoes:Black leather shoes (Bata)

I.C.S.E

  • Boys

White shirt (half sleeve), white shorts (class I – IV}, trousers (V – X), plain black shoes (Bata), white socks (without design), school tie and belt.

  • Girls

White skirt (half sleeve), plain black shoes (Bata), white socks (without design}, school tie and belt.

I.S.C (CLASS XI & XII)

  • Boys

White trousers, white shirts (half sleeves), plain black shoes (Bata), white socks (without design), school tie and belt.

  • Girls

White shirt, White skirt, plain black shoes (Bata), white socks (without design), school tie and belt.

NB.: School Monogram compulsory.

P.T. UNIFORM

  • Boys

House colour T-shirt, white shorts for class I – IV, plain white trouser for class V – X, white socks, P.T. white canvas shoes (Keds) .

  • Girls

White divided skirts House colour T-shirt. (for all classes), white socks, P.T. white canvas shoes (Keds).

WINTER UNIFORM

Nursery to class IV school sweater for both boys & girls. Class V & above school blazer (Maroon Colour) with monogram for both boys & girls.

Withdrawal

Withdrawal of the pupil from the school will have to be made with an application. Transfer Certificate is issued to the withdrawing students only after all the dues have been cleared. Incorrigible student is compelled to be withdrawn from the school if the Principal finally considers the conduct of the student detrimental to the interest of the institution.

A student may be expelled for any of the following reasons:

  • Misconduct and moral turpitude
  • Non-payment of tuition fees (at least for 3 consecutive months
  • Violating school rules and regulations
  • Failing twice in the same class
